Has anyone installed a pneumatic elevator/lift?. I have seen this in one place, but not sure of the safety and quality. On googling, it is mentioned that these are best for residential houses and also costs very less.

We have done a basement for 6 ft depth. However, from the side we plan to a ramp for vehicles, it is 1.5 feet higher. So effectively it becomes 7.5 ft depth. What would be the ramp run that should be had in this case? The max site length available is 40ft which would include ramp + space for vehicle...

Would the same criteria hold good even for Mixed land use?
For Mixed land use, the BBMP guys say that it has to be more than 4000sqft to build a basement.
