The original post was not dis-respectful, and the concerns are quite valid. The laws are not the same - be it Hindu Undivided Family or Muslims or lands allotted under special categories etc . Please consult a real estate lawyer of repute.

If you want to live in a property for many years, and perhaps pass it along to children, BDA properties are so much better than private properties. You can get Anjanapura from about Rs 3500. What you pay is what you get. Beware of very cheap properties in remote corners around Bangalore. Personally I wouldn't buy anything other than BDA or from tier A builders.

Rates have been fluctuating between 3500-5000, depending on location. Investing and living in a BDA plot is far better than living in private layouts.

Just get this taken care of as soon as possible. Consult a real estate lawyer to do the payments on your behalf.

Asking prices range from 3500 to 4700, and you should be able to close the deal towards 3 to 3.5K if you can do an immediate cash deal. Having said that Anjanapura is not that big and there aren't many genuine sellers.
