I checked out many stores and even some factories and finally bought in a store called mci granite palace at Bannerghatta road. My advice is that you will need to visit as many stores as possible till you find the granite of your liking.

Hindustan Marbles and Granites (HMG) on Lalbagh road has a very good collection of granite slabs. But this store sells only the very expensive ones and the rates are much higher than other stores.
