If a fabricator says he is using 304 ss, how do we verify if it is 304 or 202 ? Any tests and observation required ?

One person quoted Rs 50/- per sft. False ceiling area extension protruding or standing less than 1 sft ft will be charged at Rs 50 running feet.
He will be using st gobian gypsum boards and gypxyz ultra channels.
Is this reasonable ?

It is time for India to move towards light weight construction, if structure is designed for light weight blocks , it consumes lesser amount of steel, lighter weight makes it easier for labour too.

Any structure engineer would suggest siporex alias light weight blocks, India should move towards light weight construction.

Try Schindler, Kone, Johnson, Otis, These are too good brands, Usha and Surya are top Indian brands. Johnson I suppose is Indian.

Bwssb connection after demolition and rebuilding
I have demolished a single floor solo house, and rebuilt with multiple floors. I have not disconnected the old bwssb connection but paying commercial rate during the construction period. Now building is completed, should I renew my connection based on new built area ? Isn't it expensive ?

I had put Kelachandra doors at my house. Finishing is top notch. Its been 1.5 years now and the doors are pretty durable. Kelachandra doors are pretty expensive though. Choose between marble and vitrified for indoor flooring. Granite can go well for stairs , common areas. Some granite have metal content, which may rust.
