Re: 2016 Carpenters Labour Rates or interior rates
Hi Mahesh,
As mentioned by Praveen, the rates looks very reasonable. If you have seen their workmanship, then it's good. Coz, a year back itself I had paid about Rs.220 for wardrobe & cot, 230 for Kitchen, 145 for loft, 150 for 4" paneling and 250 for dressing/TV unit/ study table. Though I thought ...

Hi Rituraj,
There is no separate cutting charges for Granite laying. Rs.30 should include both cutting & laying.

Hi Goutam,
I think 13' x 19' is good enough. At my house it's 13' x 23.5' which looks big

Hi Simran,
just wanted to check that how much cost you incurred for the materials you supplied? Also, you had mentioned about Plywood/BB/Laminates. What about other hardware like hinges, locks, handle, tower bold, sliders etc.?

Hi Goutam
The new plan looks good. Only thing is you need to check with your structural engineer that if the pillars/column can be planed according to this. Also, the bath room size is shown as 4 feet. After laying tiles, finishing space available will be around 3' 6" or 3' 7", which will be very ...

Hi Goutam,
In the costing plumbing, wood items and SS Handrails looks expensive. Because, most of the plumbers charge on per bath room/kitchen. In that way this looks very expensive.
Regards,
Sunil

Hi Venkat,
For Kitchen Rs.1100 with Green Gold is very good price. In the same forum you can see people are quoting Rs. 1400-1600 for Green, Century or Archidply. Wardrobe rate also seems to be fine as people quote 1000-1050 for Green, Century or Archidply MR grade.
