Re: Drainage water getting into bathroom during heavy rain.
jackalbda, The bathroom water drain is indeed connected to the sewerage drain. This is the norm in all house construction. I think during rain, because the inflow of sewage water(and rain water) is higher and quiet possible because of partial blockage of pipe down the line and due to high pressure o...

Re: Drainage water getting into bathroom during heavy rain.
Hi msn1270, I think the house owner from whom we bought the house had built the house before the road was tarred. So once the road was tarred, the street and the road became the same level. I think he didnot build the house high enough as suggested by you. Is there no other alternate solution expect...

Re: NRI Layout-Ramamurhty Nagar
Hi, I live in Hoysala Nagar which is about a KM from NRI layout. 1) Legal issue in the NRI layout. They are B-khata sites. You need to consult an good lawyer to check for layout and property title related legality issues. Don't ever cut corner in this aspect. 2) Cost of site per square feet in that ...

Drainage water getting into bathroom during heavy rain.
Hi All, Mine is a 30x40 independent house with only ground floor. The street is not of the level throughout it’s length. Re: B khata site - Things to look out before purchase?
I would very much agree to what girishshk has stated above but one thing that has to considered is the price factor. The sites of BDA,BBMP,BMRDA layouts are quiet high and not within reach of many people. In case you have decided to go with a B-Katha property/site, here is some gyan from my personal...

Re: Purchasing a House in RamaMurthy Nagar/TC Palya/Akshay N
Hi, As rightly by you, these areas to the best of my knowledge don't have A-khata. And a majority of them might not be DC converted as well. So verify the property documents with an reputed advocate before you make any sort of payment in case you have shortlisted any property. I am residing of TC Pa...

Re: Decreased water pressure/flow in kitchen tap.
Thanks all for your valuable feedback. Recently cleaned the overhead tank myself. The floor of the tank had quite a bit of fine mud particles. Found that the even the outlet pipe of the tank (which has it's inlet in the tank) had been partially clogged by the mud. Cleaned the tank's bottom and also ...
