Instead of laying down a roadmap of how this will be dealt with, govt has announced banning unauthorized borewells in Blr. This could be a good step in long term, but i suspect it to be one more area where you need to grease the palms of govt officials.

I found this about NH 209 widening but it is not clear which area will get widened and which will not. Ditto for bannerghatta road.
